“She is meeting Bhansali now to decide on the timeline, schedule, and costumes,” a source close to the star revealed.
As per the Hindustan Times, Priyanka, who is very mindful of the public’s interest in her professional life, has been evaluating different scripts and scheduling meetings with various filmmakers for her next venture.
A Busy Year for Bhansali
While Priyanka is a potential collaborator for Bhansali this year, the filmmaker is also expected to team up with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal for his upcoming movie, Love and War, set to premiere in December 2025.
Priyanka’s Production House Focus
In addition to potentially working on a movie with Bhansali, Priyanka is dedicating her attention to her production company. Purple Pebble Pictures, owned by Priyanka, recently joined hands with Awedacious Originals to create Women Of My Billions, a documentary shedding light on women who have experienced violence.
Directed by Ajitesh Sharma, the documentary details a woman’s journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
Previous Works and Future Ventures
Priyanka was last spotted in the movie Love Again, and the web series Citadel, co-starring Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci. She was anticipated to be part of Farhan Akhtar’s highly discussed Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, but withdrew due to scheduling clashes.
In addition to her various acting projects, Priyanka’s calendar is also filled with non-acting works. She is credited as an executive producer for the Academy Award-nominated documentary To Kill a Tiger.
With such a packed schedule, both in front and behind the camera, fans are hopeful that it won’t be long before Priyanka graces the screen with another performance, irrespective of the time period.
